Just because school’s out for summer or a holiday break doesn’t mean students aren’t still down for raising money for our cause. In August, when Emma Price, a fifth-grader from Statham, Georgia, turned ten, she decided to throw a Darius Goes West-themed birthday party. As favors, she gave each guest a DVD, a Goslabi shirt and a DGW bracelet. In lieu of gifts, Emma asked everyone to make a donation to DGW.
Results? Emma raised over $200 for Duchenne muscular dystrophy research!
